Emma Kessler is a theatre artist currently based in Minneapolis.

She studied Theatre Arts and Psychology at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and graduated magna cum laude in 2021. Since then she has been involved in multiple productions around the Twin Cities as a playwright, actress, and director.
​
Emma is a frequent collaborator with Picnic Basket Theatre Company and Running Errands MN.
​
Emma loves developing new work and adapting old classics. She is drawn to the macabre and surreal, and strives to push the boundaries of what is possible in a theatre space. She is particularly interested in horror theatre, historical pieces, and female-centered stories. She also enjoys working with young artists in developing their craft.
